Why Write to Your MP?
A physical letter to a Member of Parliament (MP) carries special weight. MPs are elected to represent the interests and concerns of their constituents. When you take the time to contact your MP directly, it sends a powerful message that the issue matters to your community.
Your voice can influence policy discussions and help shape the decisions that affect thousands of displaced Ukrainians who are working hard to contribute to Canada’s future.
Campaign Launch Update
Our campaign has not officially started yet. We are currently doing important preparation work with Canadian politicians and community leaders to ensure that the initiative is effective, coordinated, and impactful.
The campaign is scheduled to officially launch on November 16.
At that time, all volunteers will receive detailed instructions on how to sign and mail their letters.

I know many Ukrainian families, who came during the war. All of them are hard workers and law obedient individuals, who are already contributing to Canadian economy and culture. All they need now is certainty and security about their future here, for them and their children.

Доброго ранку усім! Ініціатива хороша, почала збирати листи, але ось ,що мені написали:the letters that have been written have been well thought out and have excellent concerns and criteria. On the other hand, there are a few small grammatical errors.
I don’t know if this is of grave concern.

Great idea and it never hurts to get more voices. That said, I am tired of the endless meetings and little action taking place. You know my work on behalf of Ukraine the past 44 months. We are activists not politicians so might conflict with your approach.
I have fixed up over 982 resumes so know that Ukrainians are the most educated group ever to have come to Canada. Yet are treated like dirt and ignored by the political leaders and worse by our own so-called Ukrainian leaders- who will do lunches and give cheap speeches but will NOT stand to be counted.
Read some of my over 3,400 posts to know the facts and sadly how little has and is bring done to assist newcomers.
You’re also aware that the org deal made with Ukraine and Canada was set up so that newcomers would ONLY stay in Canada until the war ended!
In our view, when a newcomer hits our shores, Ukraine no longer has-or better out, should have a say whether a newcomer wants to stay in Canada longterm!
Enough said, you obviously have brains on your team so think on a strategy to get the voices heard of the many new comers who have left or are leaving because of. Not being able to get a good job, instead work as day care, cashiers etc when their education levels are much much higher!!!
I would love 10 million Ukrainians come here and throw out the millions who Trudeau let in having no education. Skillls or desire to be a Canadian!
